about us

Grandkott Corporation, established on April 23, 1986, is an entertainment bureau. Its mission is to promote and produce cultural events in the Central Pennsylvania region. In 1986 the corporation acquired the Blue Swan Jazz Tavern. This quaint sixty-seat tavern was dedicated to the live presentation of jazz. In late 1988 the corporation purchased the St. Moritz, located at 714 N. third Street, Harrisburg, PA. In 1989 the Blue Swan was closed and all operations were moved to the St. Moritz Supper Club.

The St. Moritz, a great deal more complicated than the Blue Swan, has five departments or cost centers.

  • The Bar
  • Restaurant
  • Catering
  • Entertainment
  • Real Estate Management

The St. Moritz building is comprised of a supper club which seats approximately 150, cocktail lounge which seats approximately 45, kitchen, banquet room which seats approximately 40, and bathrooms on its first floor, 8 offices and residential units on its second and third floors.

The club is unique to the region because it specializes in the presentation of locally, nationally and internationally recognized jazz, blues, rhythm and blues and gospel artist. Over one hundred nationally recognized recording artists and their bands have appeared at the Blue Swan and the St. Moritz helping to make Harrisburg a tourist attraction in Central Pennsylvania.
